Finance Broker Business Award - 2 to 5 Loan Writers

Open to finance brokers with no more that 5 loan writers who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the broker or business in which they operate.

Finance Broker Business Award: 6+ loan writers

Open to finance brokers with more than 6 loan writers who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the broker or business in which they operate.

Diversified Business Award

Open to independent or franchise brokers that have implemented successful business diversification programs to drive business development, with established goals and results. The category will consider efficiency of the diversification model e.g. number of transactions completed divided by number of brokers on file, along with an explanation of internal processes for efficiency.

Support Service Provider Award

Open to companies providing support services to the mortgage and finance industry i.e. education, legal, technology. Business and Sales Performance criteria will not be assessed as part of this category.

Customer Service Award

Open to finance broking businesses who have achieved excellence in customer service.

Aggregator Award

Open to aggregator businesses who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the organisation’s brokers and staff.

Mutual / Specialty Lender Awards

This category is decided by an online poll of MFAA members to determine the top lender of the year, judged on the basis of specific evaluation criteria for excellence in this area.

Non Major Lender Award

This category is decided by an online poll of MFAA members to determine the top lender of the year, judged on the basis of specific evaluation criteria for excellence in this area.

Major Lender Award

This category is decided by an online poll of MFAA members to determine the top lender of the year, judged on the basis of specific evaluation criteria for excellence in this area.

Individual
Awards

Regional Finance Broker Award

Open to individual finance brokers in regional areas who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the broker or business in which they operate.

Residential Finance Broker Award

Open to individual finance brokers in the residential sector who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the broker or business in which they operate.

Business Development Manager Award – Lender

Open to individual business development managers who work for a lender who have demonstrated excellence in business development practice.

Business Development Manager Award – Aggregator

Open to individual business development managers who work for an aggregator who have demonstrated excellence in business development practice.

Commercial Finance Broker Award

Open to individual finance brokers in the commercial sector who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the broker or business in which they operate.

Young Professional Award

Open to individuals 35 years of age and under. This award recognises excellence and achievement by young finance brokers in both residential and commercial sectors and aligns with MFAA's Young Professionals Program.

Newcomer Award

Open to individual mortgage, commercial, equipment and general business finance brokers with loan writing experience of two years or less.

Motor Vehicle and Equipment Finance Broker Award

Open to individual finance brokers in the equipment sector who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the broker or business in which they operate.

Loan Administrator Award

Open to individual loan administrators who have achieved ongoing excellence and effectively supported the broker or business in which they operate. Business and Sales Performance criteria will not be assessed as part of this category.

Awards

Customer Service

Provide an example of a process or behavior improvement that has led to an enhanced customer service outcome and a positive result for your business.

SOLD Community Champion Award

Open to individual finance brokers who have been active advocates of their community and/or active members of the MFAA. The category will take into account the implementation of social, ethical or community service programs.

Community Leadership

Required for SOLD Community Champion Award only.

Provide an example of how you or your organisation have been responsible for implementation of social or community service programs.

Business and Sales Performance (Confidential)

Not required for the Support Service Provider and Loan Administrator Awards.

Provide an example of how you performed as a business. Examples may include total value of your loans, average size of loans, conversion rates, repeat and referral business, total number of loans settled during qualifying period, average number of loans settled on a monthly basis, comparison to performance against same period 12 months ago.
